Our Douglas Fir Tongue and Groove Cladding is the ideal choice should you require that traditional 'T&G' look to your cladding project, along with the natural durability and stunning grain of Douglas Fir, impeccable weather protection and a cost effective alternative to our Oak claddings. Available in Character and First Grade as well as the option of End Matching for easy fitting and minimal wastage.

For a beautiful, durable, and affordable finish, choose our Douglas Fir Tongue and Groove Cladding. This product provides a traditional 'T&G' look with impeccable weather protection, making it an excellent alternative to Oak.
With striking colour variations, from pinks and browns to creams, our Douglas Fir Board on Board Cladding offers a truly distinctive finish. This timber is incredibly strong and hardwearing, thanks to a super-high resin content that makes it twice as durable as common Pine.
The knots and occasional resin patches are part of the wood’s natural charm. These boards are a reliable and long-lasting choice for any project that requires the strength and unique character of a truly authentic material.
Achieve a classic T&G look with our versatile boards. Simply insert the tongue into the groove to fix them together. The chamfering creates a subtle 'V' shadow line, and you have the option to fit them horizontally or vertically. To ensure any moisture drains away on horizontal installations, just remember to install the tongue facing up.
Ready to fix and available in two options - First and Character Grade:
This machined cladding is recommended for external use only. If exposed to varying weather conditions before fitting your boards, they are likely to cup, warp and split; the ideal time to fit cladding to keep this to a minimum is between the months of October and April and within 7 to 14 days of delivery.
Your boards will be supplied untreated. No treatments are required, however if you wish to preserve the supplied colour or use a weather resistant sealant, please take a look at our Treatex range. Should you wish to leave it to age gracefully, it will eventually turn to a beautiful silvery grey colour as the suns rays do their work.
