      Payment Information

      UK Oak require orders to be paid for in full at the time they are placed.

      The following are accepted methods of payments at UK Oak Ltd.

      When you shop with UK Oak Ltd online, you can choose to check out using either WorldPay or PayPal, both of which are established leaders in the field of secure transaction processing.

      Credit and Debit Cards

      The following credit and debit cards are accepted online, over the Telephone and Over the Counter

      If you wish to place your order and pay over the telephone please call us on 01536 267 107.

      If you're paying for your order online using a credit or debit card you'll be asked to enter your card details as part of the ordering process, and you'll find further instructions when you place your first order. WorldPay will provide a secure connection to your card issuer, without itself holding information regarding the goods or services you have ordered.

      Merchant Service Surcharge

       A 2% merchant service surcharge will incur on all CREDIT CARD transactions.

      E.g. On an order total of £110.00 for example £2.20 will be added.

      PayPal

      We use the industry leading internet payment company PayPal to protect your card details and protect from fraud. PayPal keep your information safe. We will never actually see your bank or credit card details, they are passed in a highly secure way directly to PayPal for processing.

      You can make a secure online payment for your order using your debit or credit card, your bank account, or funds held in your PayPal account balance.

      CREDIT CARD transactions will incur a 2% merchant service surcharge.

      To help you keep track of your account activity, PayPal sends an email confirmation of every account transaction.

      Bank / Wire Transfer

      Bank transfers normally take 24 to 72 hours for transfer of funds. The order will only be processed on our database once the payment has been received, potentially delaying our standard 10 working day delivery timescale. 

      If you have already been produced with an order Pro-forma, it will contain bank details.

      Cheque

      If you wish to pay by cheque please make cheques payable to “UK Timber Ltd”. Please write your name, address and a pro-forma number (if applicable) on the back of the cheque.

      Cash

      Cash is only acceptable for Over the Counter placed orders.

      Please do not send any cash by post.

      Refunds

      In case of goods found to be unavailable or discontinued, if a suitable substitute is not available, the transaction for that item will be void and any payment will be returned.

      In case of Returns or Cancellations, please read our restocking charges policy here.

      Any applicable refunds will be issued using the same method of payment used when placing the order. Bank transfers will typically take up to 3 working days for the funds to appear in your account.
