Please note that custom milled AIR DRIED beams can be cut from larger air dried beams and as such there will be some moisture variation and the milling process can expose significant splits if the sections that are required are very small. It is advised that you stick to our stock sizes if you feel either of the above features will affect your project. Custom milled AIR DRIED beams do not meet joinery grade requirements, they are for structural purposes. Fresh sawn or Green oak beams will always be close to perfect however as they are taken straight from the tree and graded as they are sawn!
