Oak is an incredibly strong, durable, reliable and beautiful material, and it could be used in a variety of projects including houses, garages, porches, extensions and custom-built frames.
All our oak frames are designed, crafted and made by hand and have a superior finish to show the natural beauty of English Oak. To construct your frame, we will use time-honoured traditional methods of construction, such as pegged mortice and tenon joints to add strength and authenticity to your frame. Our Oak frames are constructed off-site and brought to the site to be erected by an experienced team. In most cases, we prefer to use only timber but in some circumstances, the use of structural steel is necessary to support our Oak.
Our oak frame buildings could be standard or bespoke, depends on the project for what is used for. UK Oak can assist you with the initial design, planning application, groundworks, manufacture and assembly of the oak timber-framed building.
Here at UK Oak, we are able to offer our customers the opportunity to purchase bespoke and standard oak frame buildings in stock or of a custom size to meet any requirements.
