Description

Our fresh sawn Rebated Character Grade Oak Featheredge External Cladding is ideal for an elegantly rustic finish with enhanced stability and improved weather resistance. The unique rebated design allows the boards to fix flat, while a diagonal cut creates a traditional tapered profile that overlaps like roof tiles.

These boards are freshly sawn on-site and are full of natural character, with varying knots, color variations, and unique grain patterns. The oak will naturally expand and contract, giving the cladding its classic rustic charm. We recommend fitting the boards between October and April, within 7-14 days of delivery, to minimize natural movement.

This cladding is supplied untreated, as no treatment is required, but you can use our Treatex range to preserve its original color before it ages to a beautiful silver-grey.

Ready to fix and available in two options - First and Character Grade:

First Grade is sorted to include only the clearest (most knot free) boards with the straightest grain possible. A perfect choice for all modern and contemporary applications.
Character Grade will have a mixture of all top four grades, 1 through to 4 - some clear of knots and some straight grain, others with knots and some sloping grain. A perfect choice for all traditional/rustic applications, it gives a less uniformed look, without compromising its excellent durability properties.

We offer the following section sizes:

150mm x 24mm reducing to 6mm at the feather
175mm x 24mm reducing to 6mm at the feather
200mm x 24mm reducing to 6mm at the feather
150mm x 28mm reducing to 8mm at the feather
175mm x 28mm reducing to 8mm at the feather
200mm x 28mm reducing to 8mm at the feather

The advertised price is per square metre and comes in random lengths between 1200mm and 3600mm unless otherwise specified for an additional charge:

Set lengths up to 3500mm - £8.00 extra per square metre exc VAT
Set lengths above 3500mm - £12.00 extra per square metre exc VAT

This can be done by adding the 'Set lengths (Cladding)' product to your basket (1 quantity = 1 square meter of cladding). You will need the same amount of cladding and set lengths in your basket to get the set lengths that you need so make sure to double check you have added the correct quantity.
