Horizontal boards with tongue and groove machining, featuring chamfered edges on both the top and bottom. It's essential to install the tongue and groove cladding with the tongue facing upwards. This design is ideal for door manufacturing or any application where both sides of the board will be on display.

Consider our English Ash Wood Tongue and Groove Cladding for a timeless 'T&G' aesthetic in your cladding project, featuring the elegantly rustic and airy finish that Ash Wood is known for.
Depending on your preference, they can be installed either horizontally or vertically; if you opt for a horizontal installation, it is advisable to position the boards with the tongue facing upwards, as this will enable any moisture to drain away from the tongue.
Cut directly on site, these boards feature sound knots of different sizes, occasional color variations, fissures, and sections of tightly grained, straight ash wood. As the ash adjusts to fluctuating temperatures, your boards will naturally expand and contract.
Your boards will be supplied untreated. No treatments are required, however if you wish to preserve the supplied colour for that little while longer or use a weather resistant sealant, please take a look at our Treatex range. Should you wish to leave it to age gracefully, it will eventually turn to a beautiful silvery grey colour as the suns rays do their work with a creamy undertone.
Ready to fix and available in two options - First and Character Grade:
First Grade is sorted to include only the clearest (most knot free) boards with the straightest grain possible. A perfect choice for all modern and contemporary applications.
Character Grade will have a mixture of all top four grades, 1 through to 4 - some clear of knots and some straight grain, others with knots and some sloping grain. A perfect choice for all traditional/rustic applications, it gives a less uniformed look, without compromising its excellent durability properties.

Our English Ash Wood Tongue and Groove External Cladding is priced per square metre and comes in random lengths between 1200mm and 3600mm unless otherwise specified for an additional charge:
This can be done by adding the 'Set lengths (Internal Cladding)' product to your basket (1 quantity = 1 square meter of cladding). You will need the same amount of cladding and set lengths in your basket to get the set lengths that you need so make sure to double check you have added the correct quantity.
