At UK Oak we offer a wide range of Solid Douglas Fir Internal Doors to fit your every need. Whatever you wish to use the door for we have an option for everything, from using them for a contemporary or traditional house to a barn conversion or simply for cupboards and wardrobes, there are doors which fit all these needs.
Please be aware that these doors are intended for internal use only, and it is not recommeneded for use outdoors.
Our hand crafted doors are available in an extensive range of designs and sizes, all of which are manufactured from solid Douglas Fir which may contain features such as knots, splits, and worm track. Our Douglas Fir has been kiln dried to 10% moisture content making the doors extremely stable which minimises any bowing or warping after installation.
Available in Prestige and Priory Ranges:
Usually we will use provide a wider bottom to the frame to allow the door to be sized accurately and trimmed to fit (usually about 125mm). This framed and ledged design is the same as the standard framed designed but with the exception of inverted ledges with the option of either 1,2 or 3 horizontal ledges (approx. 110mm).
