Nightrods can be used either as a low energy, long burn briquette on those days of in between temperature in order to take off the chill while not throwing out too much heat or as a way of retaining heat in your stove/appliance overnight.Â
If all air intakes are shut down and the Nightrods are placed on the hot embers of a pre-existing fire then there is a chance they may make it through the night and the stove may still be warm in the morning.Â
Those cold winter mornings may not be so cold when using Nightrods.Â
