Our fully air-dried European Oak Decking is carefully machined to a solid 16mm thickness, ensuring serious strength and solidity. As a naturally resilient domestic hardwood, the decking requires no treatment once laid. However, many customers choose to apply a decking oil to preserve the oak's natural color and character for a little longer. If left untreated, the boards will gradually weather to a beautiful silver-gray. We recommend using products from our Treatex range to protect your timber against rot, decay, and insects while enhancing its natural beauty.
Because the decking is made from Character Grade Oak, you may notice natural variations like knots, irregular grain, and some sapwood. These features are what give the boards their unique and charming character.
Our decking is available in a range of lengths to suit your project. You can also choose between two finishes: a bevelled-edge non-slip profile or a planed-smooth finish for a contemporary look. If you don't state a preference, the bevelled-edge profile will be supplied.
