Siberian Larch is ideal for this application due to its natural resistance to wearing. Unlike many other softwoods, Siberian Larch does not need to be treated and has been known to last many decades in many different applications including those with ground contact.
Please note that these bollards are a planed finish and the overall section size of your bollard will be reduced by approximately 6mm (+- 2mm).
