Siberian Larch Shiplap Cladding

If you are looking for cladding that is beautifully grained and highly durable, then there are few better choices than Siberian Larch as is it slown grown and an incredibly dense softwood, making it ideal for you internal and external demands as it is kiln dried to 18% moisture content.

As a result of the high resin content of this timber, it is one of the most stable and naturally hardy of all the softwood species and it extremely durable without any treatment. Although if you do require treatment on you cladding, we work closely with the Treatex brand to enable us to offer you the a range of treatments and finishes. Whether you intend to use this product internally or externally, we will have the finish you desire to complete your cladding to the look you require.

Our Treatex Douglas Fir Protection helps to prevent damage from weathering when this timber is used for external purposes. However for internal applications our range of Treatex Hardwax Oils will enhance the woods natural appearance and characteristics.

Our Siberian Larch Shiplap Cladding is ready to fix and available in two options:

  • First Grade- This timber is sorted to only include the clearest of boards with the straightest possible grain to achieve a more pristine finish. This is a perfect choice for all modern and contemporary purposes.
  • Unsorted-  This option will have a range of all Top Four Grades; 1 through to 4. This means that some boards will be clear or knots and some straight grain whereas others will have knots and some sloping grain. This option is ideal for traditional/ rustic applications, to give a less uniformed look without compromising the excellent qualities of this timber.

Our cladding is priced per square metre and comes in random lengths between 1.6m and 6m, unless specified for an additional charge. Please contact our sales team on 01536 267107 for more information.
