Oak roofing shingles are a traditional, hugely desirable alternative to clay tiles or slates. Widely used in country lodges, farmhouses etc.
Our stock oak shingles are produced from cracked oak usually used in the manufacture of barrels in Normandy, France. The standard dimensions are 425mm long + or - 25mm, 60mm - 120mm wide and 16-22mm deep reducing to 5mm.
The advertised price is per m2 (as laid, ie triple laid for roofing).
