English Larch or Douglas Fir are possibly the hardiest, most durable of domestic softwoods. These sleepers are completely untreated because their super high resin content acts as natures own highly effective preservative.
Larch and Douglas Fir have a striking appearance with colour variations from cream to pink to bronze and sometimes all 3 in the same piece of timber. As with all timber if left untreated it will become a silvery grey over time with the bleaching effect of the sun.
A superb sleeper that will last and last and is perfect for all those sensitive applications such as childrens play areas, ponds and raised vegetable beds!
